Picking up exactly where the first movie ended, this one jumps right into the action. Just like the first one, the movie is paced extremely well, and keeps you watching. There are tons of small little points that tie the two movies together. After it's over, you're have time to think about, and you'll start to realize all the ways the writers intertwined the 2 movies.
The actors who played Marty's father and girlfriend didn't return, so they used new actors to replace them. You'll have to watch very closely to pick up on it though. Michael J. Fox also put on a skirt and played the part of his daughter, which I totally didn't notice the first time I saw the movie.
The movie was so big and complex, they actually broke it into 2 parts, and filmed both at the same time. So part 2 and 3 are actually just one big movie. That explains why they kinda leave you hanging at the end of part 2. |
